In accordance with Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on 25 May 2018, we provide you with information on the collection of personal data when using our website and on your rights in the following.

Personal data include all information that refers to you personally, e.g. your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. When you contact us by e-mail or using the contact form, the data provided by you are stored by us in order to respond to your inquiries or to make the material you request available to you. You must consent to this for the respective specific application.

We delete the relevant data regarding this once the storage of such data is no longer required, or restrict processing if statutory retention periods apply.

If we commission service providers to carry out individual functions relating to our offering, you will be informed of the respective procedures and storage periods. Otherwise, we will not forward your data to third parties.

In regard to your data, you have

  • the right to information,

  • the right to rectification or erasure,

  • the right to restriction of processing,

  • the right to object to processing and

  • the right to data portability (receipt of a copy, taking your data with you)

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority in regard to the processing of your personal data by us. The supervisory authority within the meaning of Section 9 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG neu) is the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

In the case of purely informational use of our website, that is if you do not register or otherwise provide information to us, we only collect the personal data sent to our server by your browser. If you wish to look at our website, we collect the following data, which are required for technical reasons in order to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (the legal basis being Art. 6(1) S. 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • the date and time of the request

  • time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

  • content of the request (specific page)

  • access status/HTTP status code

  • the respective quantities of data transmitted

  • browser

  • operating system and user interface

  • language and version of the browser software
